I am frakking motherglubbing TERRIBLE at planning things. More than anything, I suck terribly at planning social events with more than one person. Who am I kidding? I suck at planning social events with ONE other person. Well, My birthday is soon. Like… FRAK WHY IS IT SO FRAKKING SOON I AM SO SCREWED. I’m also flat broke because unemployed.
So…
What can I do
That takes about a week to plan
And costs absolutely nothing
But encourages my friends to show up?

Moreover, what do I do about the fact that I now have about four different completely unrelated friends groups in the area, now?
Will my spooky friends be able to tolerate my dear Homestucks? Will my active but geeky friends be comfortable around my spooky friends?

Social stuff is HARD, guys.

For the First Time…

Just, for the first time in my Tumblr account’s lifespan, turned off infinte scroll on my dash. Internet bandwidth caps are a bitch.

Settling

I’m getting the tiniest bit more settled. I still need a job, but to be honest I haven’t been trying 100%. I really do want one, but I’ve been operating at about 30% power in the job hunt. So I’ll be upping that to 100% once things at home settle down more. I’ve been fairly well tied up with cooking cleaning and the sort, and I get so easily distracted with that sunshine… But yes. Need a job. Working on it.

I’m now pretty comfortable walking around. I will be more so when I get my phone, which won’t be until I either get a job or can work out a credit/debit split situation. I have an Aussie bank account, now. That will absolutely and unavoidably snarl up my taxes next tax season. I’ll cross that bridge when I get to it. I’m relatively comfortable with the bus/trains. I will never be fully comfortable with them until I have a smart phone and Translink bookmarked. Trufax. Same with the Yay Area. I was never 100% comfortable without my celly when it came to trip planning. But Translink has always been ace with that. So… Yup.

The suburbs are lovely, but I am hooked on the city. Once I have my own money I’ll be heading into the city quite a bit more. I’m within walking distance… Just not the sort of walking distance I WANT to conquer every day. Maybe I’ll just get a job there. That’d be nice.

The boyfriend is lovely. He’s at Uni right now. I’m supposed to be doing my to-do list I wrote up earlier. I told him I’d do. But I’m updating Tumblr for the first time in what feels like years but if probably more like a week.

I MISS YOU GUYS.

As soon as I have money the boyfriend and I will get real internet so I can Tumblr again. For now it will be rare, as our cap is absurdly low. We’re looking at a couple really great internet plans, though. So we might get a reasonable cap later. For now this is about all I can do. :C
